Tickets On Sale Now For Monster Heart!

After postponing our 2020-2021 season due to COVID-19, we’re thrilled to announce that we’re ready to produce our newest original show, and Twin Cities theatrical debut, Monster Heart at The Southern Theater in Minneapolis in February 2022.

Monster Heart is a dreamlike adaptation of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein that intertwines Mary and Percy Shelley’s love affair with that of Victor Frankenstein and his Creature in an exploration of what it means to ‘make a monster.’ Blending dramatic text with dynamic physicality, singing and puppetry, this unconventional love story takes the audience on a journey that moves from graveyard to laboratory to society salon, revealing the labor of creation, the quest for immortality, the rejection of the ‘other’ in society, and a struggle to love in the midst of it all.

Theater That Ignites

Combustible Company uses actors’ physicality to create visceral performances that spark the imagination and ignite conversation.

By drawing upon the imaginative and expressive power of the actor’s body we seek to explore the human psyche to create performances that allow audiences to derive new meaning from spoken and unspoken language. We seek to tell universal human stories by innovative means to spark the imagination and help audiences better understand themselves and the world around them.
